I think Betsy Ross made the flag because their flag looked like the British’s

flag  and they were not fighting for the british so they need a new flag. Betsy Ross could

sew anything so George Washington came to Betsy  Sewing Shop and told her they needed a

new flag so they started on a design with stars and stripes.  She made  five-pointed stars

rather than six-pointed stars. Soon she was finished the flag for the United States and

continued make flags for over 50 years!!!
